one couple, many passions – and a touch of ocd. food, science, beer and brewing. sterling and ilana [owners] fused it all together and trademark brewing found its home in Long Beach, CA. trademark brewing enacts the rare balance of art and science. art and creativity produces our unique beers. science ensures we can make it again. our beer is handcrafted in small batches to exacting standards. we’re picky about our beer because we love it. period. (duh)

we love beer. and we brew for beer lovers. trademark's beers don't live within the confines of tradition and defined styles. our beers are handcrafted in small batches and challenge the norm. we make beers that explore the drinkers taste for unique flavors. from bitter dry-hopped IPAs to coffee-dark stouts and porters. simply put, we love everything about beer.

golden reign | ipa og 1.062 ibu 56 srm 10 golden in color and hop-forward with big citrus flavors and tropical fruit undertones. pours with a bright white head that reveals its balanced hop character and aroma, reign's medium bitterness goes down smoothly.

long hair don't care | citrus honey wheat og 1.046 ibu 18 srm 6 some might call it a lawnmower beer (easy drinking, won't lay you on your ass), but we’d like to think it has more purpose than that. bright, fresh citrus flavor with honey aroma. the blend of wheat and barley gives it a slightly hazy color and soft head.

10 hour stout | oatmeal stout og 1.089 ibu 44 srm 53 dark as night and impenetrable by light. featuring 10 Speed Coffee from our friends in calabasas, and 100% cacao colombian chocolate. the pilot brew session took 10 hours - nearly twice what it should have been. a challenging beer to make, but a pleasure to drink.

what's next? we're always up to something new. our pilot system is currently working on small batches of our single hop series, a few session ales, and something unusually aromatic that we'll talk more about later. stay tuned.
